In the endless expanses of the universe, many a life form is roving around, which sometimes even makes it on board of a space ship. This is the starting point for "Alien on Board", the galactic guessing game of authors Mathias Spaan and Henrik Havighorst.
Three to six space fans of ten years and above form the crew, among whom an alien has mixed in undetected. Can the being mislead the crew members or will it be exposed by them? The roles of spaceship crew and aliens are assigned newly in every round and of course remain secret. This is decided by the decoders, which are randomly distributed by the commander, into which a playing card is then pushed with a question. Now it becomes apparent how smart the alien is, because its question only refers to an overarching topic (for example, “Name one thing”), while the crew members read the full question (for example, "Name one thing thing that can be found in a castle") and can thus reply more easily.
Improvisation talent when answering is therefore indispensable for the galactic intruder, so as not to be immediately exposed and instead to lure the game group onto the wrong track. From the crew members, attentive listening and combination talent are demanded in their attempt to find the alien. Who can create the perfect deception?
Language: German
